Retail Store Manager

The job description below has been developed to provide a framework for the basis of the Retail Store Manager’s job description. The position may include additional responsibilities as assigned by upper management, or as the position grows and adapts to changing business and customer demand.


Sales
• Maintain a complete understanding of the wireless industry, wireless phones, rate plans, features and services
offered by T-Mobile
• Develop employees to help build customer base and provide ongoing customer service
• Meet and exceed month performance quotas set for both personal and store performance
• Conduct Daily Focus Card reviews with sales staff and monthly sales reviews
• Complete monthly sales reviews with sales staff and Sales Managers
Inventory
• Maintain store inventory in a secure area
• Conduct weekly and monthly counts of inventory as outlined by policy
• Ensure retail displays are complete and fully stocked, as well as price tags displayed in a clear and professional
manner
• Adhere to all Express Locations LLC equipment handling procedures and/or policies
• Process all inventory transfers and/or receiving at the time of equipment receipt


Employee Development
• Assist sales team in building customer base
• Ensure implementation and compliance of all company EOP process and requirements as outlined in the EOP
manual
• Coach employees to actively work with existing customers to provide additional accessories, features and add-on’s
• Ensure each employee training and development meets all corporate established deadlines as outlined by the

Assistant Retail Store Manager

The position may include additional responsibilities as assigned by upper management, or as the position grows and adapts to changing business and customer demand.


Sales
• Maintain a complete understanding of the wireless industry, wireless phones, rate plans, features and services offered by T-Mobile
• Build customer base and provide ongoing customer service
• Complete daily and monthly sales tracking worksheets as outlined in the Express Operations Procedures Manual
• Actively work with existing customers to provide additional accessories, features and add-on’s
• Participate in outside sales generation activities – flyers, events etc
• Proactively follow up with customer service
• Meet and exceed month performance quotas set for both personal and store performance
• Conduct Sale Rep One on One’s with sales staff in the absents of the Store Manager
• Conduct daily manager EOP Sales activities in the absents or as assigned by the Store Manager


Inventory
• Maintain store inventory in a secure area
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly counts of inventory as outlined by policy
• Research inventory discrepancies immediately upon discovery
• Ensure retail displays are complete and fully stocked, as well as price tags displayed in a clear and professional
manner
• Adhere to all Express Locations LLC equipment handling procedures and/or policies
• Process all inventory transfers and/or receiving at the time of equipment receipt


Employee Development
• Assist sales team in building customer base
• Ensure implementation and compliance of all company EOP process and requirements as outlined in the EOP
manual

• Ensure each employee training and development meets all corporate established deadlines as outlined by the
corporate training team
• Complete all training and course requirements for Sales Representatives and Store Managers with in 90 days of
securing position (with-in probationary period)

Cash Management
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift daily
• Reconcile and deposit all cash daily as assigned
• Approve closeouts daily
• Review daily packets for accuracy and coaching opportunities
• Ensure consistency and security of store cash funds
• Adhere to all company cash handling policies


General Administration
• Maintain office supply needs in store
• Ensure sales floor is clean and organized
• Assist in stocking retail floor with collateral and office supplies
• Complete daily tasks and reports as assigned by store manager and outlined in the Express Locations Operating
manual

Sales

offered by T-Mobile
• Build customer base and provide ongoing customer service
• Meet monthly sales and equipment goals set by management
• Complete daily and monthly sales tracking worksheets as outlined in the Express Operations Procedures Manual
• Actively work with existing customers to provide additional accessories, features and add-on’s
• Participate in outside sales generation activities – flyers, events etc
• Proactively follow up with customer service
Inventory
• Maintain store inventory in a secure area
• Work with store manager to ensure store is re-stocked daily
• Adhere to all Express Locations LLC equipment handling procedures and/or policies
• Process all inventory transfers and/or receiving at the time of equipment receipt (assuming security has been
granted and management is unavailable)
Processing
• Process transactions for all equipment sales, activations, payments, etc…. in the presence of the customer
o Receipt must be provided to customer for ALL transactions and equipment movement
o Receipt must include all associated customer information
 In the case of equipment activation, must include all information that is also entered in
iCAM/CAM/Watson
Cash Management
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift daily
• Ensure all funds are secured and accounted for daily
• Accurately and completely identify each tender type in each day’s processing
• Adhere to all company cash handling policies
General Administration
• Assist in stocking retail floor with collateral and office supplies
• Ensure sales floor is clean and organized
• Complete daily tasks and reports as assigned by store manager and outlined in the Express Locations Operating
manual
• Answer phones
• Complete all new hire and ongoing training as assigned by management
