EXPRESS LOCATIONS EARNS HIGH-PERFORMING CIRCLE OF EXELLENCE AWARD FROM NATIONAL BUSINESS RESEARCH INSTITUTE

WENATCHEE, Wash. (January 27, 2014) – Express Locations, a Premium Retailer for T-Mobile USA, has earned the High-Performing Circle of Excellence Award from the National Business Research Institute (NBRI) based its continued improvement in employee engagement.

The NBRI Circle of Excellence Award recognizes businesses that place a high value on employee engagement and customer satisfaction. In order to earn the award, companies must score in the top quarter of NBRI’s Clear Path database. Organizations earn this distinction by conducting best in class survey research with NBRI and taking action based upon the results. Recent winners in the employee survey category include SunTrust, Focus Brands and Toro.

Express Locations’ employees were surveyed by NBRI during the third quarter of 2013 and the results found that the company placed in the top quarter of the mobile retail industry. Based on the raw analytics provided by the survey, Express Locations is now participating in NBRI’s Best Practice Continuous Improvement plan.

The primary goal of the survey is to measure and improve Express Locations employee engagement efforts specifically how employees feel about management and their work. The NBRI survey anonymously gauged employees’ thoughts on such factors as compensation, corporate culture, job training, life balance, and a host of other information.

“We consider the NBRI survey a resounding success,” said Director of Personnel Karrie Schilperoort. “We are elated have such a good starting place at the 77th percentile, and look forward to moving Express Locations to Best in Class Performance at the 90th percentile or above.”
